Sometime i wonder, why reality are so different from anime, manga, etc

simple they get money like easy. well i don't know if myself aren't so capable to do like story

maybe the part of being otaku are easy to hope something that never will exist, like being a hero, or being genius.

sound pathetic i am,. yeah cause my father got lung cancer. it depress me very much. every corner of my world changing one by one. even now i dont see anime manga game like i before.

maybe i got that what otaku called otaku graduation. yes, it true. every story i watch, read, have ending don't this hobby should have ending too? 

Otaku Glossary

as you guys read, it for people who didn't understand slang word otaku.

MOE = it so cute, that happen make your heart warm ( I myself never got the warm, but do understand what is Moe)

Lolicon = Pedophile. it common where most otaku somehow, worship FlatChested Girl (common are children)

PedoBear = Otaku who love lolicon

Pettan-Ko = Flat Chested Girl, or small boobs girl or similiar,

Galge = Adult Game, where there Sex scene in 2D, but in now days they make Flash motion. most of it Have Voice

Seiyuu  = People Who do Dub. including galge dub

Fanservice = scene that made for Fans only, without any meaning. Example: PantyShot, Bathup time, Etc (most of it Sexy scene, some hardcore almost included Sex scene)

Filler = like it said, it was just like review of all past episode, sometime just for reminder. with out anyn impact to story (it common knowledge that filler made for Anime Studio who don't what else to do, or more time for other episode )

PWP = Plot What Plot. common Word for People Who love literature. it mean there is no plot, straight to topic that it  (mostly for hentai where 80% are Groan and moan Voice)

Hikkikomori = NEET (Not Education Employed Training) people who just became parasite on their family. it mean he a jerk who dont want do anything and refuse to going outside world (jsut stay at his room for 24 hours)

Otaku = Maniak, exmpale: Train otaku, military otaku otaku are negative statement

Light Novel = Teen Novel, most of otaku read this

Visual Novel = Novel that like Galge, but with focused Story, the sex scene just a fanservice, not real genre. it good really, dont same it as galge. it has voice have sex scene but have plot that make u interted more with story not sex scene

Japan Cencorship = like NA EU have rating, japan have it own rating
- Kodomo = Children
- Shonen = Boy teen, like ben 10. avatar etc
- Shoujo = Girl Teen, where most of story was fluffy (like Cinderella etc)
- Seinen = Adult Man, Where most story are have violence, nudity, sex scene. the plot are heavy too
- Josei - Adult Women, same as Seinen but women oriented, so like harlequin

Tankubon = Manga Volume, most of Manga in Japan are realse chapter by chapter. so when they have enough chapter, made it into book

holy Trinity = Called for super famous trio SHonen Jump. NARUTO BLEACH ONE PIECE

Long Forgotten things

in life, something we just forgot something. that once was our passion.

for me it my 1st blog where, blog era still early bird.

Multiply blog my 1st blog.
well i reopen it because there notification from my old email address, that has been hack by Chinese bot. so it spam all my yahoo messenger friend with link into Porno Site. sometime i need to check it to ensure no one going wrong.

and when i arrive at my old blog, really it bring me memories, that blog was created with 3 hour afford, to choose, select, and modify. to look perfect and it does (at least for myself)

the aura of that blog, remind me of my old foolish self who still freshmen on university. really it bring me 1st year of being student, meet new friends, being egoist, and really i miss that time. where i can do anything i want, without any feel of pressure, neglect, sorry, negative.

year 2005 that time internet still luxury things. where 1 hour was about $1 the speed was lame dial-up 56kpbs. but that time, website, blog, else still rare, even Google still compete with yahoo. but now even we buy things from internet :D

and still need to buy anime from local store, (DAMN DUDE I KNOW IT WRITTEN "FREE SUB" BUT WITH LAME 56kpbs, u things it worth to be downloaded ? with tariff $ 1/Hour)
and there still no GOOD SMILE COMPANY. but there ALTER, MAX FACTORY.

IMO, sometime it good to see in the past, what have u done. and bring a new memories, refresment.

Being UselesS

it has been 2 month delays since my last post. yeah it suck. look like me being lazy. the truth is i am :D

well i will keep update the things but not now :D

lost in translation

being on china almost for 2 week really like lost in translation. me as 2nd generation of Chinese descendant who have already mixed in indonesia culture found china is strange things.

my father who 1st generation and most of Chinese indonesia (china peranakan) born form 1950-1970's love and respect china, he said "you are chinese people, you must know from where you are, like a river, u must know where the upstream" so going to china it a mandate if you able.

from that point i feel like it same like muslim tradition (well indonesia it one of the largest country with majority population religion is islam about 95% , it normal i know their custom and culture) where there must be Hajj.

so here i am in china, and got culture shock, everything said in "普通話 / 普通话 Pǔtōnghuà" with every corner with 拼音 pingyin. without their national language, there still about 400+ local language with their own accent really make me lost.

force me to feel home sick, the old saying is true "time is the only answer" i gradually able to listen and having light conversation in chinese. but still found so many different between me and the real chinese people.

• they never FLUSH the damn toilet, really make me puke is their toilet. never look into their flushtoilet. except your own hotel room
• SMOKING in EVERYwere ANYwere. and worst their cigarette can be smell form 50m
• Spit, they MUST, NEED, ALWAYS SPIT, with LOUD sound
• SMELLY, they rarely took shower. so beware
• No RESPECT, their always FORCE to cut the Queue. amazingly don't feel guilty about it
• LEG, amazingly they can and dare to put leg in top of chair on ariplane
• different place different behavior. so much that i dont able to tell

NB:
in Indonesia we have national language "bahasa indonesia" aside about 100+ local language.
the biggest ethics are hokkien people 

16 KM of HELL Jakarta

Today, i was going home from Bandung into Jakarta. local time is 11:00 PM. what surprise me is there a traffic jam starting from 0 KM till 16 KM.

it means, start from 16 km jakarta into 0 KM, from Jakarta Inner Ring Road into Cikampek toll

from Cawang-Tomang-Cengkareng :

it terrible. what could you do when your home on bekasi ? even after that hellish 16 KM there still another terrible 16 KM Cikampek toll for arrive at east bekasi.

No wonder there are some commuter Jabodetabek. who prefer stay at Jakarta from Monday to Friday, saturday and sunday at Jabodetabek. they live 5 days at Jakarta 2 Days at their Homes.

Tips on Jakarta

it Cross my Mind, about foreigner who come Jakarta to attend AFAid without knowing what is Indonesia. so for that reason (or i don't know what to post)

here tips from local, Myself:

1. Arriving on Airport, don't use the random guy taxi. first it expensive then normal rate taxi, else some of  them are robber. they took you to somewhere then empty your wallet, leave you out of nowhere.
2. make sure have some rupiahs, if possible change before arrive Indonesia. if forgot, change about Rp 1.000.000, it more then enough to pay taxi and hotel fee, bank are recommended but they charge you a lot.
3. Blue Bird Taxi, Borobudur Taxi, White Horse Taxi, these are good taxi. if force to use other taxi, persistence using taximeter, or they will fine you very expensive.
4. choose moderate hotel. normal rate for jakarta 3-star hotel are about Rp 400.000. backpacker are welcome but make sure you know the place. if not use AGODA check the review
5. Avoid using normal bus or other public transport if you don't understand Indonesia. most of Indonesia people can't talk English (it is not BALI)
6. expect Jakarta like any developing country. it modern on some part, but not all
7. robbery is quite common, so don't bring lot of cash. Rp 3.000.000 are enough for good food, average mall food court are about Rp 30.000 till RP 50.000
8. beware foreigner for Indonesia people mean "Rich" so lot of people are trying to take opportunity to sell thing as high as possible. so Bargain, don't afraid to leave or use calculator
9. if you want to skimp, jakarta is not the place. where the easiest and safest transportation are taxi. the good and safe are hotel. else are horrible.
10. try Nasi Padang. choose what vegetable you want. then sit let the waiter/tress bring to you. after eat, just go to cashier. give Rp 50.000 they give you the change, usual change are a bout Rp 20.000 somethings  it spicy so beware. the good padang is where there are crowd people waiting on lunch time.

waiting For Anisong

a bit reivew of anisong Days 2, my info aren't too detailed, so forgive me and notice  if there wrong info in it:

1. Sea☆A (they song "Dream Shooter" "friendship B-day" "Deli-Deli Delicious") they done their best. although they not really famous or known in indonesia.
2. Angela (My Fav, sing "Asu he no brilliant Road", just 2 i forgot, "shangri-la" and Encore Song "Zankoku ni Tenshi No Theze") Katsu are showing he really like gundam, even he start speech of Principle Zeon. Loudly Call "Zieg Zeon, Zieg Zeon, Zieg AFA,Zieg AFA"
3. Streopony (other Good Girl Band, but not my Fav. they song their new album song, but some technical error happen. so it wasn't as good as i expect. they don't sing Encore song )
4. KOTOKO (sing "light my fire" "Unfinished" some game song i dont know. the encore song was Re-sublimity) too bad KOTOKO got technical error, so her voice aren't going so well. and indonesia Otaku are too tired from waiting. so no more "Otaku Yell"

and after anisong there are Steropony sign process. i got one but took about 45mnt of waiting, and they don't give me any chance to took pic. (DAMN INDONESIA WORKER. THEY JUST WANT GO HOME FAST. AND THEY UNDERESTIMATE JAPAN LOVER)
   
with lot of respect i thank very much to  AFA for coming indonesia. because at least we indonesia (altough i am not reperesnting all otaku indonesia but i sure they have same opinion with me) have something to be proud off.

Anime Festival Asia 2012

well one of the most promising event for otaku indonesia. sadly i can't update this blog for today. but give short notice.

1. people people and people. i came at 2nd day and still too crowded.
2. no respect. well as otaku indonesia i feel shame. lot of people don't have respect
3. amazingly, vanguard card are so popular. a lot of singaporean :D
4. even danny choo said himself on his FB (too much people) and his mail ( he said japan anime industry underestimated otaku indonesia) hope this will give a good image for indonesia
5. the last part concert dannysaid there will be another AFA for indonesia
6. with notice a new line up for AFA 2012 singapore: LiSA, if i not mistake gombam who sing ed song for blackrock shooter, and other 2 that my apology forgot
7. the consert were so good. angela still my fav, but there lot of minor mistake :(

Otaku History on Indonesia

     First, This is from my own history. so it maybe not true.

my first anime was macross, airing at "TVRI" and fascinating by it. about 1994 when i move up to jakarta. it cool to see plane transfrom into robot. then it cut off. then "Indosiar" private company television play morning anime (only on monday). it start from 5:00-10:00.

still remember. 

• 5:00 sentai time (similiar with robocop)
• 5:30 gundam wing (Just communication are too COOL)
• 6:00 corrector yui (nice and it funny)
• 6:30 ultraman tiga (my fav ultraman)
• 7:00 news
• 7:30 american cartoon
• 8:00 normal air program
• 9:00 dragoon ball
• 9:30 normal air program

 then i started my junior high, vacuum but somethime watch noon anime. set on SCTV consist of 2 anime: sakura wars and Dual (the OST was So Good)

my real otaku time is in high school. when meet the same interest. from then i watch Tokyo underground and Gundam SeeD (although i can read english, fansubs already showing it for free. but i still buy it from my friend, who brought it from animachi about $2) at that time. internet was luxury things. average internet speed was Dial-Up (example : average Mp3 is 5mb. i download it about 15mnt. 1 hour dial up cost $1) and believe it or not. even at this time lot lot of people still buying anime on anime specialty store (exmp: animachi, hobbyjapan, else)

our main public view about otaku is quite harsh. they keep talking "so a childish, rubbish stuff, Grow up" so it was a part why people buy anime. cause it can be camouflage as movie DVD (in Indonesia Piracy is business. you can sell piracy stuff without concern being caught. law in Indonesia = money)

then i found my world at internet. finding anime focus Forums (this is where usual place for otaku to talk and stuff. indoanime) and found torrent (RS MF are stuff we can't afford. it Expensive and  need Credit Card)

  

Tong Fang TCM joke

Tong Fang Tradicional Chinese Medicine is a clinic give patient alternative medicine. It use china herbal. The medicine made from various things (from ginger into rhino horn) Usual way to use the medicine is steam it on traditional china pot. Like make tea. Steam about 3-4 hour Pour it drink it. Other way. Grind it until became powder, drink it with water

With lot of Ads, that using the same word:
"Dulu Saya <sakit>, Semenjak datang ke Klinik Tong Fang,  <sakit> saya hilang, Terima kasih Tong Fang"
translate English:
"At first i have  <sick>. then i  Came to Tong Fang, My <sick>  is Gone, Thank you Tong Fang"

because same word for all ads. people begun noticing, started using as a joke.

Good one ads:
"at first i have headache, then i came to Tong Fang, My headache is gone, Thank you Tong Fang"
"at first i have Cancer, Then i came to Tong Fang, My cancer is gone, Thank You Tong Fang"

joke example:
